Jim, Just wanted to say thanks for the big catch on the furnace. You saved us a hugh headache! They ended up finding out that the 2 intakes were never connected to the furnace. They got them connected after some rework behind the drywall…. I had the furnace put up on a box as well. Thanks again for catching it. Two HVAC guys from different companies told me (totally unsolicited comments) that they were pretty impressed that the inspector had found this problem…and they admitted it was a big problem….but most inspectors wouldn’t catch it. Thank you for putting our report together so quickly. I’m very grateful for the time you spent discussing everything with us, let alone the incredible detail found in your report.
You take your job very seriously and perform it to perfection. I’m too often underwhelmed at peoples work ethic these days. It’s encouraging to come into contact with someone like yourself as well as inspiring to those of us who still consider a job well done a virtuous thing.
